Comment Queues and Leopard

December 13th, 2007

Wow.  I just checked the comment queue and it was huge, but also full of spam, and every single notification of a comment had been going into my mail’s SPAM box so I hadn’t even noticed.  Sorry about that!  Just one more reason that I’m moving to a new email provider, so hopefully things won’t get backed up so much.

So clearly some people are having issues with WeatherPop on Leopard; however, Ben & I are not — another reason we hadn’t been urgently working on a Leopard release.  If you need yet one more, I’m now in grad school and Ben’s working for a startup, so we’re already working too much.  BUT, my semester is almost done, and Ben informs me that my winter break will include some WeatherPop work (gotta earn my keep and all), so feel free to keep posting issues in comments.  The more specific, the better — then I can have some test cities and test situations to use before release.

Doppler Fixed

WeatherPop is slowly being pulled back together. I just pushed a fix to our radar server so that it should work better for more locations. Here in SF, it’s pretty nice today… how is it where you are?

We’re back!

Weatherpop.com is back, after a long hiatus (we were hacked).  Sorry about that, and thanks for your patience!
